We're Still Here.

Dear Toledo,

Since starting Love Letters To Toledo almost three years ago a lot of things have changed for the team. We’ve welcomed new children, watched babies grow into toddlers and toddlers grow in to Kindergarteners; we’ve started new jobs, new careers and new businesses; we’ve moved houses and taken on new academic pursuits, we’ve gone on sabbaticals overseas and taken on new community roles. Needless to say Love Letters To Toledo has slipped down on our to-do lists a little, but we are determined not to let this beloved site slip completely off our lists because we still LOVE toledo and want to keep shouting about that love and sharing your wonderful new letters.

We’ll be back next month to celebrate Immigrant Heritage Month for the third year with our wonderful friends at WelcomeTLC. We enjoy spreading the love during this month because it shows that Toledo can become home for anyone no matter how long they’ve been here and what brought them here in the first place — that is a testament to the people of Toledo, for it is you that makes the city so welcoming.

After June we might go quiet again for a little while, but we won’t be gone for long. We are putting our heads together as a team to figure out how we need to run in the site now that our already full lives have become even more jam packed. Once we get this straightened out, we’ll be back to spread the love in new and fun ways. As always, if you’d like to get in touch with us with your own letter or a nomination for someone you think would make a great feature, or an idea of what you’d like to see out of the site going forward please do HERE — we’d love to hear from you!

Love Always, The LLtoTo Team.
