A collection of love letters written to the town.
Thank you for being real with me
When I moved to Toledo: October 2012
I live with: Brady Sheahan (husband and native Toledoan), Oliver Bross (my three-year-old sidekick), Lola the dog and two very fluffy cats (to which I am allergic).
My day job: I'm my own boss, mostly, which is pretty neat. I own Sheahan Communications and conduct freelance corporate communications consulting and writing projects - much of my time is spent at Dana Holding Corporation in this capacity. Aaaaaand, I'm owner of Pure Barre Toledo, a barre fitness studio located in Cricket West where I have a hard case of what they call "job love."
On any given day you'll find me: On the playground with my kiddo. Running on the streets of Old Orchard, the University of Toledo trail or through Wildwood Metropark. On my yoga mat or at a barre class. Knee-deep in shiggy on a hash run. On a pontoon at Devil's Lake or sailing on Lake Erie. Hanging out with the coolest neighbors (ever) in an Old Orchard backyard. I don't sit still. Catch me if you can.
Personal motto: Gratitude changes everything.
Favorite coffee in Toledo: If it's beans from a store: Fresh Market's Chocolate Cherry Kiss. If it's a local brew, I dig a pour over from Maddie & Bella.
